The weather has been beautiful recently. It's chilly at breakfast time, but by mid-morning the sunshine lures us outside to play. Changsha December feels like Minnesota October -- my favorite season -- coats & hats, leaves on the ground, the first frosts, cold air, warm bright sunshine at noon, and pot roast supper in the dark at 5:30pm. The soul is glad.
Jonathon is doing so well! He looks like he is toddling everywhere! I love those October days you described. Here, it is wet and 35-40 degrees right now (weird, huh?) No snow on the ground. But these short days with the sun going down at 5:30 are frustrating. I'm glad December is a month where we are expectant for a special birthday all month, which distracts us from the short days :)
